Qutb Minar

Another World Heritage Site, this one on the south side of Delhi in a large park.  This is a very early Mughal monument (~1230 AD) built from materials obtained by destroying Hindu temples.  It contains numerous styles as it was added onto right through the period of the British Raj.   The photo below shows detail from the tower, a 240 foot high brick structure.
